Our StoryHello! Jake and Amber here -- owners of Ozark Mountain Getaways. Owning a small business in Little Rock, Arkansas -- we are always trying to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city to disconnect and find a little peace and quiet.
Sometimes we would go on a couples excursion to a cabin in the Ozarks and sometimes we would take our 3 kids (ages 3, 7 & 11) to the lake or somewhere where they can disconnect from their devices and enjoy some fresh air and some sunshine and nature. When we decided to buy our own cabin and Jake found House on the Rocks -- we were absolutely thrilled. We love taking our family on hikes around the Ozarks or to see the elk. Our kids actually enjoy just getting in the car and driving with us through the Ozarks. We fell in love with HOTR and ended up buying two more beautiful houses in the Ozarks to rent out to other families and couples. At our little Ozarks cabins, you never know what you will see next! There are so many things to stop and see or do. The restaurants around Jasper are as good as you’ll find in any big city! We love breakfast, lunch or dinner at any of our nearby local restaurants. We hope you will come make some great memories at one of our cabins. The smells of nature, the inspiring views and the peace of the Ozarks culture will leave you begging for one more day! And we are happy to provide suggestions for things to do while you’re here. |
